It's SMURFin Time!

Watched this movie ("The Smurfs")  today and what can I say is that they're a bunch of a cute, innocent blue creature. As to the movie, 6 smurfs accidentally went to the city of New York through the "water portal" (*don't really know what it's called) including Gargamel who chases them. Long story ahead....

Rendering huge GeoJSON data using leaflet

  Huge GeoJSON data may cause browser to crash, this is because of its limitations.  Let's say you have a 100+ MB file, displaying it on the map without map server will cause a lag or unresponsive browser. In order to address this issue, you can reduce the GeoJSON file size by simplifying its vertices using mapshaper (or using QGIS or any desktop GIS software) and converting it in TopoJSON . TopoJSON is an extension of GeoJSON that encodes topology. Rather than representing geometries discretely, geometries in TopoJSON files are stitched together from shared line segments called arcs . This technique is similar to Matt Bloch’s MapShaper and the Arc/Info Export format, .e00 . This will significantly reduce the file size, I have tried a 100+ MB file it reduces to 30+ MB. After the conversion, we'll be using a parser and rendering plugin for leaflet. Let's use leaflet-omnivore from mapbox in parsing TopoJSON and convert it to GeoJSON, then use Leaflet.VectorGrid . It will be the last opportunity for Miami Heat on June 13, 8AM PHT to be the "NBA Finals 2011 Champion". Leading the series, Mavs finished the Game 5, 112-103, biggest score so far for this series knowing that Miami's defense is tough. It was unfortunate on Wade's condition not to play for a couple of minute because of the bruised hip. “You know I’m not going to [talk about the injury],” Wade told reporters after the game. “It was unfortunate I had to leave the game. But I came back and I finished it.” Other than that, Heat should give more effort on being efficient. They always lead on the first three quarters but Mavs were always able to catch up.

Believe me, When I say that I LOVE YOU When I care about you When I don't want to hurt you intentionally Because it's true. This is a promise to myself more than to you.
